Experiential Learning planned with Pittsburgh crossover
Six students from the CMU campus, and six from the CMU-Q campus, plus a post-graduate supervisor from Pittsburgh, worked together this Spring on a Consulting & Strategy project under guidance from Professors Hussein Fadlallah and Oliver Hahl. Students from Pittsburgh visited in January, and students from CMU-Q ventured to Pittsburgh after Spring Break. They reviewed two companies’ strategic placement in the region and globally before preparing a defense of recommendations. The two companies were Talabat, a regional delivery service, and Jaffer Brothers, a multi-industry company with investments in agriculture, machinery, and biotechnology, among other fields.
