Professor Fadlallah hosted a workshop on October 24th, 2024 titled: “Ethical Leadership: Unlocking Biases in Decision Making.” This workshop was designed to empower leaders with cutting-edge insights into behavioral strategy and ethical leadership. It explored the subtle yet powerful ways hidden biases influence decision-making processes, potentially leading to unethical outcomes. Through engaging discussions and interactive activities, participants delved into the latest research on implicit biases, such as confirmation bias, the availability heuristic, and anchoring.

Attendees analyzed classic psychological experiments, including the trolley problem, Asch’s conformity experiments, and Milgram’s obedience study, to understand how social and cognitive pressures shape ethical choices. The workshop provided practical strategies for mitigating these biases, equipping leaders with the tools to make more informed and ethical decisions.
