Professor Sharma is an expert in marketing with a specialty in teaching Arabic students at CMU-Q. As Qatar strives to diversify its economy, the growth of the manufacturing sector plays a pivotal role. In this competitive landscape, embracing innovative marketing strategies is essential for success. Professor Sharma’s recent workshop focused on the emerging field of sensory marketing, a rapidly growing area in marketing research that engages consumers’ senses to influence their perceptions, judgments, and behaviors. Participants explored the impact of sensory marketing on consumer buying, delved into research on product and package design, and discussed how to leverage these insights to enhance product evaluations and build unique brand identities.
