QCB and QFRCA leaders attend Macroeconomics lecture

Students in Professor Andres Zuluaga Castano’s Macroeconomics class had the privilege of hosting Mr. Abdullah Majid Al-Kuwari, Director of Finance & Stability at QCB, and QFRCA representatives in September. Engaging discussions on economics and their organizations offered invaluable insights. Students’ questions sparked enriching conversations, making the session both educational and deeply inspiring. Both QCB and QFRCA are invested in supporting the long-term benefits of education at Education City and in Qatar.

Carnegie Mellon University’s 73-103 Principles of Macroeconomics teaches students how macroeconomic analysis can explain national economic activity and how government intervention might stabilize an economy. Topics include: defining and measuring national wealth, economic growth, credit markets, unemployment, interest rates, inflation, and the monetary system.
